Canyoning Hrčavka is something entirely different from what you've seen before. The tour takes place within the territory of Sutjeska National Park, in the Hrčavka River canyon.
What to expect? The narrow canyon hides many surprises — and we'll mention only a few: waterfalls, slides, and pools. You'll be using ropes, climbing equipment, jumping from waterfalls, and swimming.
Canyoning is not for everyone, but it's not too difficult either. It does require a certain level of physical fitness — if you're comfortable in cold water and can swim 50 metres, you can do this.
Guests gather at our base camp. Short welcome, paperwork, and introductions to the guides you will be spending the day with.
Roughly a one-hour transfer through the forest road that leads into the park. We stop once for photos at the Maglić viewpoint if the weather plays along.
Before entering the canyon, every participant is fitted with top-quality canyoning gear. Our guides run a short training session on rope handling, jumping form, and essential safety protocols.
The canyon is roughly 2 km long. Along the way you will face waterfalls, deep pools, and natural limestone slides. In some sections you will descend using ropes; in others you slide straight into the water — which is the fun part.
After 3 to 4 hours in the canyon, we exit near the village of Tođevac. Transport is already waiting to drive you back to camp. This marks the end of the tour.
This experience can be combined with other packages we offer and can easily be turned into a multi-day adventure. Talk to us about a custom itinerary.
